This card was created for the P
apercraft Star Challenge 56. This week was to use the given photo as your inspiration. Well, this one was a tough one for me. Do you ever have those colors you just avoid like the plague? For me I'm not too friendly with the colors Yellow and Black: however I do love me a challenge! When I struggle with colors I find that keeping it simple works for me, which is what I tried to do with this card. One of my favorite things to do with a large petal flowers is edge them with Stickles. For this one I used silver. I then added a button to the center. The background was created by stamping an image from a stamp set called "Doodle This", by SU. For the sentiment I used a Whisper White craft ink and stamped right onto the black ribbon. I then added a border punched strip to the center along with a bow and called done! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and thanks for taking the time to stop by:)
