The weekend is here and soon it will be the first day of school for my little kindergartner! We have been so busy in my little household! I just know my daughter will be missing her big brother. I did manage to get in a little stamping time in between school supply list and school tours however. For this card I used a stamp set from SU called Great Friend. I used several of the stamps in this set, one of witch I used to create a background for my sentiment. I used a distress ink from Ranger called Antique Linen to stamp the leaf images. I loved the subtle leaf flourishes behind my sentiment. I don't like a lot of blank space around sentiments and this is just a hint of a pattern that solved that issue for me. I used the color story from
CR8F4FN which were yellow, kraft, and neutral, and a sketch from
MFT stamp challenge 33. I hope everyone is having a good weekend and thank you for taking a peak!
