Tim Holt's twelve days of tags! I'm going to TRY to play along on each of these day. For this tag I didn't have some of the dies so I used my Cricut to cut some the flourishes and the "Peace". I tried the pine cone tutorial he has on his blog, but I struggled with this die cut. I found it difficult making them look like pine cones. I had asked my hubby what they looked like and he said..."flowers?". Instant sad face! Oh well I did have fun making this tag so I'm happy with it. Looking forward to tomorrows tag. Embellishments: Sizzix Embossing folder, Spellbinders Shapablities leaves, Pine cone Sizzix die, Cindy Lou cartridge. Ribbon, pearls and beads from Pretties kit, very vanilla embossing ink.
It turned out really pretty! I like the dreamy effect around the edges too. Real good job!
