Twelve Days of Tags Day 1

It's Tim Holt's twelve days of tags!  I'm going to TRY to play along on each of these day.  For this tag I didn't have some of the dies so I used my Cricut to cut some the flourishes and the "Peace".  I tried the pine cone tutorial he has on his blog, but I struggled with this die cut.  I found it difficult making them look like pine cones.  I had asked my hubby what they looked like and he said..."flowers?".  Instant sad face!  Oh well I did have fun making this tag so I'm happy with it.  Looking forward to tomorrows tag.  Check out the Tim Holtz blog each day and don't forget to comment as there will be prizes given away daily!!!  Have a great day!

Paper:  Tim Holtz seasonal patterned papers, lunch bag card stock from the Kraft Journal, grunge board
Ink:  Distress inks:  Antique Linen, Vintage Photo.  Craft ink:  Whisper White and Very Vanilla from SU,
Embellishments:  Sizzix Embossing folder, Spellbinders Shapablities leaves, Pine cone Sizzix die, Cindy Lou cartridge. Ribbon, pearls and beads from Pretties kit, very vanilla embossing ink.

  1. It turned out really pretty! I like the dreamy effect around the edges too. Real good job!

  2. This is beautiful the colors and that gorgeous glittery sentiment! Sweet pinecone accent, too!

  3. I really like this a lot! It is so wintry and the colors are beautiful. Peace is good...always! Wonderful job.
