Here today with the Papercraft Star Challenge 109. This week's challenge is a "summer vacation" theme. This summer we took the kiddies to the beach for a few days to spend time with their cousins. They had a wonderful time and we all enjoyed ourselves. For my card today I used an image I cut from a Graphic 45 sheet. Although I did not look nearly as fabulous lounged on the beach I did have "fun in the sun" watching my little ones play. For the color scheme I took inspiration from the image. Using a Cherry Cobbler card stock as my base I matted a piece of patterned paper which I stitched around. I then tucked the edge of a spellbinders die behind the image. I fussy cut some flowers from the coordinating paper in the same This and That line and added some seam binding and bakers twine for my bow. The sentiment was stamped in baroque burgundy (SU retired). That does it for my card! I'd love to see your vacation inspired project!
