Yes it's that time of year again. Kids are back at school and my house is so much quieter! This week's challenge over at the
Papercraft Star theme is ...you guessed it "Back to School"! For my project I created a vintage inspired postcard. Using patterned papers from October Afternoon's "Sidewalks" collection I wanted to create a classroom scene. I adhered an alphabet border on the top matted with coordinating cardstock. For the chalk board I used a rectangle piece of wood which I sprayed with some chalkboard spray paint. I then added vintage images and adhered them to the chalkboard. Wrapping a little seam binding finishes my little postcard. Since the blackboard is functional, little messages could be written on the board itself. I hope you get a chance to play along this week for your chance to win some beautiful images from our sponsor
The House Across The Bay. For more inspiration please see what the other talented designers have created.
Ros is our spotlight designer this week and she had created a beautiful collage card jam packed with The House Across The Bay images! Remember to link you entry by Monday 6:00 am EST. I'd love to see what you create. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Anitra
