Mother's Day Card

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Are you ready for another challenge over at the Papercraft Star?!  This week our challenge is a Mother's Day theme.  How perfect for me because I love my Mamma, but tend to always send my cards late:-(.  I'd blame the Post Office, but my mom worked for the Post Office for over 25 years, so that excuse never works.  For my special card I used a digital image from our sponsor The House Across The Bay called Vintage Flower Seed 229.  The images that you get on this one sheet alone are super gorgeous!  I couldn't stop at making this card.  I had to make some lovely tags as well.  But back to my card.  I started out with a crumb cake card stock and matted some patterned paper from My Minds Eye.  I opened THATB digital image in my photoshop and resided this image.  I added some lace and a burlap heart tucked behind The House Across The Bay image.  I then used different stamps sets.  First I stamped the "Mother" from Clear Art Stamps and then the frame from My Favorite Things Stamps.  Once the "Mother" was stamped I die cut it using the coordinating die from My Favorite Things Stamps.  I used a bit of Antique Linen distress ink around the card and sentiment and my card was finished!  Now if I can just remember to send this one out.  Now it's your turn!  Create something special using our Mother's Day theme and link it up by Monday 6:00 am EST for your chance to win some digital images from our sponsor.  Thanks for stopping by!
