SPRING!!!
Spring is just around the corner and we are having beautiful weather here in Central Texas! For this project I created a Spring banner. I used the colors from the Papercraft Star Challenge along with papers from The Girl's Paperie. The letters are from Tattered Angels. The chipboard tags were purchased from Michael's dollar bin. I just had a lot of fun adding bits here and there that reminded me of the spring time. For the "S" I made a crepe paper rosette and edged it with some stickles, and spritzed it with bamboo shimmerz. I trimmed the bottom with some lace and adhered a butterfly from Jenni Bowlin. The "P" was made by creating a paper rosette and edging it with pink glitter from SU. I edged the Rosette with the white Tombo glue and dusted it with the pink glitter. I then added some vintage lace. For the "R" I cut a flower out of printed text which I colored with chalk ink. The flower die is from SU. I edged the bottom with pastel buttons, with some flowers adhered to every other button. The "I" was made from the negative space of the letter. I edged the pink flower under the "I" with glitter as well. The Easter images are from Crafty Secrets. The "N" is glittered with Dazzling Diamonds and placed on a ribbon rosette, with a piece of felt tucked behind it. Which brings us to the "G". This was made by using a bird cage die from Tim Holtz along with a chipboard bird from Tattered Angels. I trimmed this one with some sheer lace and a satin ribbon. My apologies for the epic post. Thank you for stopping by and taking a peak! Hope you all have a great weekend!
