I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Like predicted the weather here in Central Texas is pretty dreary: (. I did however get a chance to make a little kraft journal. Everyday my little boy says the funniest things. I made this journal so I can record the things he says. I used a small smooth kraft journal I purchased from the Kraft Outlet. I distressed the edges with white ink and then adhered some trim along with an embellishment from 7 Gypsy's. The glittered flourish is from Recollections which I colored with Copic markers. I then finished it off with some twill I also purchased from the Kraft Outlet, along with a small brown satin ribbon. I just couldn't resist adding a small butterfly to the center of my bow. I can't wait for my little boy to come strolling in to my room tomorrow morning! I can just hear him now...Mama I'm hungry can you make me some dinner? Every meal is dinner to my little guy! Thank you for stopping by.

Wonderful! That image is too funny. :-) You've embellished your little journal beautifully and I can guarantee that you will be glad you made this for your little boy. I kept journals of my daughters antics when she was little and to this day she absolutely loves reading through them (she's almost 20). Thanks so much for sharing your great project with us this week at The Kraft Journal!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous journal - and the image you've chosen is just perfect! I think it's a fantastic idea to keep a record of the funny little things that your son says. It's so easy to forget and you'll all have such joy going through this when he's older.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to record the every day things in your journal... and thank you so much for sharing with us by participating in our first challenge at The Kraft Journal!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, and what a great idea to have a journal to record all those little sayings. I LOVE the wide lace you used and the ribbon tied side. Thanks for playing along with us at the Kraft Journal.
