Photo inspiration challenge

Why hello there!  Wednesday brings another fun challenge over at the Papercraft Star.  I hope you're ready to show us your take on our photo challenge.  For me I had a wee bit of trouble with this one.  I really liked the way the trees looked against the golden sky, so I used that as my inspiration.

I started out with some Chocolate Chip cardstock as my base.  Then I took some book paper from an old nursing dictionary I had picked up from the Goodwill.  (No worries this one was defective one as some of the pages were set upside down.)  Using some pinking shears I cut the paper to fit and distressed the edges.  Next I stamped the grass in chocolate chip ink onto the text paper.  For the flowers I stamped using Versa mark and then added chalks to bring out the image.  Instead of using birds like in the photo I used a wooden butterfly button.  Some ribbon tied in a simple bow and a burlap tag finishes my card.  I printed the sentiment onto some paper and cut it out and glued to the tag.

For more inspiration check out the Papercraft Star blog to see what my fellow teammates' take on this challenge.  I look forward to seeing what you come up with.  What will you take from this inspiration photo.  Maybe you love the birds, or the colors.  It's a new year so challenge youself, and you can be the next Papercraft Star!
