Love Ducky

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone has had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!  I've been quite busy myself, but now things have calmed down and I'm back in the stamping groove.  What better way to get my stamping groove back than to participate in the Play Date Cafe Challenge!  I loved seeing all the inspiration from the Design Team, and I also loved reading that some found these colors indeed challenging!  For this card I used this darling little duck sticker from Crafty Secrets along with a coordinating sentiment.  The patterned papers are from scraps from my leftovers.  I don't mind the colors and think they worked well with that little Ducky!  I hope everyone has a good week and thank you for stopping by.

Paper:  Butter cream from Taylored Expressions, The Girls Paperie, Baja Blue from SU, Webster's pages
Embellishments:  Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Edge punch from SU

  1. Aww, that poor little ducky! The colors are perfect and the patterned paper coordinates nicely with them. Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe!

  2. OH MY! I just want to hug that little ducky! POOR little thing! These colors are perfect with that paper and our challenge! Great card:) THANKS for playing along and joining in the fun over at the PDCC:)
