Papercraft Star Challenge 163

It's Wednesday and the challenge over at the Papercraft Star is a fun one.  This week we have a photo to inspire you.  When I saw this photo I immediately thought of Monopoly.  The thing is I have never liked playing Monopoly.  My brother's always cheated and stole my colorful money and trick me into selling my railroads!  So I went with one of the suggestions to the photo.

Metal
Shoes
Hats
Games
Dogs

I went with games!  I once worked at Sea World of San Antonio, and my job was to make the cotton candy, which by the way, I can't stand now.  Some how though every year for the past three years I volunteer, yes I said "volunteer" to make the stuff at my son's Fall Fest for his school.  Well down from my cotton candy card was the Midway.  That's were all the carnival like games were, and every once in a while someone would actually win one of those stuffed prizes!

For my card I used the paper from October Afternoon called "Midway".   I used embellishment stickers form the coordinating sticker sheet for the little tabs off the sides and a ticket from the coordinating miscellaneous pack.  Of course there's some seam binding and a button from my stash that matched perfectly with this paper line.  I love making these bright cards.  For more inspiration please check our other designers over on the Papercraft Star blog.  I just love how each of the amazing designers have such a different take on the same challenge.  I'd love to see what you come up with!  Have a wonderful week and thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
Anitra

  3. I can see why you'd be sick of cotton candy. I once worked in a bakery and couldn't eat cream cakes for years!
Such a cute, fun card - love the bow.
