For my card I started out with a butter cream card stock from Taylored Expressions. I then matted some patterned papers from October Afternoon. The lined paper is from Simple Stories. I tucked a bit of a doily behind the lined paper and added a simple bow made from seam binding. I then used my Spellbinder circle die to cut an image from The House Across The Bay's, Vintage Seeds 229 page. Then I used another Spellbinder die to cut a coordinating loopy circle in blue card stock.
Next I used an adorable little wooden laser cut bicycle that I embossed using very vanilla embossing power and adhered it to my card. A fun little butterfly from October Afternoon along with a simple sentiment also from an October Afternoon embellishment pack.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card, Anitra, love the sunflowers, so happy! I lost all my digital images when my g-mail was cleared, I miss using them, guess I will have to buy them! Hope you are well and that you are getting the kids ready for school, how time flies!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and love all the lovely layering!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card Anitra! Love the beautiful sunflowers and pretty butterfly fluttering about! The beach cruiser adds such a sweet touch! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOh, my gracious! I cannot tell you how much I adore this, girl! The blues and yellows, the polka dots and gingham, the sunny flowers and distressed bike... SWOON! Perfect in every way! Don't you wish times were as simple as they were when we were kids? I remember riding my bike all over town. What an adventure, but I'm terrified to let my son do the same now. Times are just different.
