Well hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Now that we've had a bit of a break I hope you're ready for another challenge from the Papercraft Star! This week we challenge you to use holiday greenery in your projects! We have a beautiful inspiration photo to use if you choose. For my card I used a stamp I've been holding on to from DRS stamps. I stamped it onto some buttercream cardstock from Taylored Expressions with some memento tuxedo black. I then had some fun coloring with my copic markers. I love the way the ornaments just pop out with the bright colors against the greenery. The patterned papers from Authentique worked so well with this stamp and colors. Of course I had to use some of my favorite embellishment seam binding, and adhered a button from The Girl's Paperie. Now it's your turn, break out those holiday greenery stamps and let's see what you come up! You could be the next Papercraft Star! For more inspiration our wonderful design team has some wonderful cards!

Thank you
Well hello there! I hope everyone is enjoying their week. My mom is up for a visit this week so we've been having a wonderful time with her. It's time for another challenge over at Papercraft Star. This week we challenge you to make a Thank You card. Easy as can be! I know right now holiday cards are on the front of our minds, but after the gift giving is all said and done it's time to send out those thank you cards for the kind thoughts and gifts! I know the grandparents really enjoy the thank you cards written by the little ones! For my card I went with a a shabby chic look. Using a sketch from this week's Mojo Monday blog, I started my card. I used wonderful patterned images from an Etsy store called Iralamija. I stayed true to the sketch and this little beauty came together so quickly! I hope you get a chance to play along this week. Our Design Team have some real beauties to inspire you with this week so I hope you'll stop by and take a look!

Here's another "thank you" inspired card I made. This is my first card for this challenge but when I discovered that one of my fellow teamies used the same sketch I went with the above card. I guess great minds do think alike! LOL
The popular sketch is from Random Acts of Creativities' Saturday Sketchbook challenge.

Yellow and Gray
The middle of the week is here and that means another round of me singing the "Good Morning Sunny Wednesday" song to my 1st grader (because I know he secretly loves being woken up by my awful singing) and another challenge over at the Papercraft Star! This weeks challenge has to be one of my favorites. For our challenge we want to see you use yellow and gray in your projects. Our design team has created some real beauties this week. For my card I used more mustard cardstock from SU along with some patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket. Just by playing around with my punches and dies I added the gray patterned paper and punched some leaves using Martha Stewart punches. The looped circle is a die from Spellbinders and the velvet flower from Maya Road. For the sentiment I used a Sizzix/Hero Arts stamp and die set stamped in sahara sand. Since I'v been loving burlap lately I added a strip along with some vintage lace. I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week. I enjoy seeing what everyone creates each week. Give it a try and you could be our next Papercraft Star!
Hugs,
Anitra
