Pintrest Inspired!

Good Monday morning everyone!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I myself am glad this weekend is over and I can move on from a very trying few days.   What better way to start off the week than with a fun challenge from the Kraft Journal!  This week we want to see how you are inspired by Pintrest!  The fabulous design team over at the Kraft Journal has some wonderful inspiration for you.  For my card I was inspired by this photo of this charming sweater.  I love the colors and all the layers of lace.

For my card I started out with a Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock.  I then matted some Buff Ivory cardstock that I had embossed using a Sizzix embossing folder.  I just love the texture it created.  

I then created a frame using the small Precut Chipboard.  I ran the chipboard through my Big Shot using a Sizzix nestabalities die.  I added my sentiment using a stamp from Verve and stamped in a Soft Sky ink.  To bring in some more of the great lunch bag cardstock I created a rolled flower using a Sizzix Bigz die.  Two smaller roses from Wild Orchid Crafts were added along with some fun gathered trim.  

To finish off my card I added a seam binding bow in Aqua Mist with a vintage button in the center.  I look forward to seeing what you create.  As always, participants in our weekly challenges have a chance to be selected as our Featured Artist and showcased on one of our "Feature Me Fridays" posts.
