Papercraft Challenge 161

Hello everyone. This Wednesday we have another challenge over at the Papercraft Star.  We have a great inspiration photo for you.  This week we welcome the super talented Mona Pendelton from Cupcake Creations!  Mona has generously sponsored this weeks prize and I tell you the "Timeless" stamp set and "Time Pieces" die set were so fun to work with!

Using MPD "Timeless" stamp set from My Favorite Things Stamps, and MPD "Time Pieces" die set I created this card with the Back to School theme in mind.  

I started out with a teal cardstock base and matted some October Afternoon patterned paper from the Farm Girl collection.  I then created my own patterned paper using the "Timeless" stamp by stamping in alternating colors in black and rose red.  I then filled the open spaces with another stamp from the set in antique linen.  The gingham patterned piece is from October Afternoon's Farm Girl and "school days" tab is from Graphic 45.  

Of course I had to use one of the awesome clock faces in the MPD "Timeless" stamp set.  I just stamped it and cut it out using the coordinating die set, "Time Pieces".  I then added a simple hand cut banner and stamped the "Happy Times" sentiment from the "Timeless" set.  A huge thank you to Mona Pendelton!  It was so much fun playing with this awesome stamp set and coordinating die set!  I really hope you get a chance to play along with us this week, as you could have a chance to WIN your very own prize from MPD!!!  Please take a peek the rest of our design team to see what fabulous projects they have created to further inspire you on the Papercraft Star blog!  Looking forward to seeing what you create!  Remember you could be our next Papercraft Star!
